Overview

Support the growth of the Avery Online business(s) through relevant and timely reporting and insights. The role will be required to develop KPIs and reporting to effectively monitor business/campaign performance and provide insights into opportunities or areas which require action.

Outside of regular reporting, the role will look to provide further insight through ad-hoc reporting on trends and insights on the website(s).

The role will work closely with other areas of the business such as IT, Marketing and Sales to help deliver data driven reports and insights where appropriate.

Responsibilities

Lead the charge of effective reporting

  • Management of daily, weekly and monthly reporting including:
    – Sales/Conversion Dashboard, Digital Marketing Dashboard
    – Specific Business Unit reports (e.g. Avery WePrint, Easy2Name, Goedgemerkt etc)
    – Reporting & analysis on customer behaviour & patterns
  • Maintaining and enhancing the monthly reporting and debriefing meetings, highlighting the website performance and making recommendations based on the findings.
  • Maintenance of the existing Data Studio dashboards, custom segments and filters used to analyse specific verticals and areas of the websites for stakeholder interests.
  • Promote self-service through the assistance of dashboard and custom report creation to serve the needs of stakeholders who require regular reporting and provide guidance into the options available.

 

 

Lead the charge on Insights

 

  • Utilising reporting results and trends to propose new growth opportunities for Avery and individual business units.
  • Monitoring on-site customer behaviour and conversion funnels, reporting on performance of online content, driving out suggestions to improve the customer journey and increase conversions.
  • Defining metrics/KPIs to report on sales and performance of the online businesses.
  • Identify technical SEO issues and gaps, recommend fixes and improvement.
  • Training and guiding the local and central teams, helping them define objectives and measurable results, analysing outcomes and making actionable recommendations based on insight and data.
  • Using data from multiple sources to identify consumer and business trends, exposing new opportunities, and answering business and industry questions.
  • Work with external performance marketing agencies to understand and contributing learnings from data to further improve paid campaigns and challenge the status quo.

Drive the charge of Data-Setup & Structure

 

  • Drive the development, implementation, and best practice of Google Analytics across multiple websites, according to stakeholder and business requirements.
  • Staying ahead of the latest tool and industry developments to make the most of new features.
  • Leading and owning the GA4 and dataLayer implementation project, with a focus on data quality and consistency.
  • Ensuring all digital marketing channels are tracked correctly and maintaining custom rules and filters to ensure all campaigns are recorded within Google Analytics.
  • Working with the technical and development teams to design, test, and develop new tags to enhance and maintain data consistency.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 24 months experience in a reporting/analytics role. (Ideally within an ecommerce / retail environment)
  • Ability to condense data into insightful, well-structured and comprehensive reports
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics, and experience of GA360 desirable, including advanced segmentation and technical understanding of the tool and its capabilities
  • Experience of training stakeholders in Google Analytics or other measurement tools.
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Data Studio and experience of building dashboards using segmentation and filters.
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Marketing Platform including Google Ads and Google Search Console.
  • Proficient knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets knowledge & experience.

Experience with Google Tag Manager desirable
Experience with SQL desirable but not essential
Experience with Google BigQuery desirable but not essential.
Experience of working with international teams and partners
